Crime Stoppers - Crime Campaign

Crime Stoppers is an organization that operates separate from the police, and 911. They encourage community members to speak up, and feel comfortable when providing information regarding crime. Crime Stoppers doesn't gather names and personal information from those providing information, which gives a sense of peace and protection. 

Crime Stoppers branch in Vancouver BC has taken a different approach to bring awareness to the purpose of their organization. 

The organization has been around for years, but members of the community may not be aware of how the organization operates so Crime Stoppers created a campaign to update, and remind citizens of their services.

Vancouver Metro Crime Stoppers worked with DDB Canada Vancouver to develop this campaign, which will be ran across the entire province - with visuals on billboards, bus shelters, washroom posters as well as digital advertising and announcements on radio and television. 

The hashtags #WorldWithoutCrime, #WorldWithoutGangs and #WorldWithoutGuns have been circulating and online viewers are encouraged to tap into the conversation and provide ideas and images on how they envision a World Without Crime.
